Are the present mega trends creating major business opportunities? If so, how can these opportunities be captured?
Six teams taking the course Business Creation last Friday had the privilege to present their very promising business opportunities at the Boston Consulting Group Stockholm office. All presentations were well received, discussed and scrutinized by Sofia Gavefalk, Nadine Gerson, Erik Finnerman and Patrik Tidebrant, BCG. The topics ranched from health care and biosensors to public transport, retail and farming.
This final presentation and the report concludes the course that started in January with analyzing an interview with Jezz Bezos from 1997, three years after Amazon was founded. 20 years has passed since then and looking back we understand how well Jeff Bezos analyzed the potential impact of Internet, what potential business opportunities that could arise and how well he managed to capture these. Can this be repeated? We think so. Future will tell if we are right.
